Branching Out: Exploring Hidden Patterns

Mission:

To highlight current problems, explore long term sustainable solutions and provide the resources required for the beginning stages of an overall shift in consciousness.

What are we creating?

Presented in a simple easy to read guide this comprehensive overview of whole systems thinking is intended for everyone

The presented information documents the current paradigm shift through a compilation of facts, quotes and resources from leading specialist.

The format of the guide is designed specifically into a condensed glossary outline which covers topics such as culture, food, water, energy, education, permaculture, built environments and economics. The glossary outline is used to get straight to the point, inviting readers an easy access to understand why these particular problems and alternatives are important.

The main purpose is to educate the masses to become eco-literate and knowledgeable of the solutions that are part of the existing revolution. To express how our actions, lifestyles, ethics, philosophies and dinner are intrinsically connected. And most important to provide people with resources and approaches that they can put their energy in.

The resource section is the best part! Each topic includes an expansive list (organized by region) of existing organizations, networks, and movements that support, work and take action toward implementing solutions and alternatives. In doing so, we hope to serve as a liaison and an interface that supports efforts toward implementing change.

In order to grasp the importance of each section, you cannot look at it as a separate entity. To understand its importance, you must look at each part as a supporting part of the whole. Without these sections, the whole falls apart, and without the whole, the section has no meaning.

As supreme court justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. put it in 1903, “in modern societies, every part is so organically related to every other part, that what affects any portion must be felt more or less by all the rest”

Enjoy!
